Jamaica

Jamaica was really fun and hard work! I'm thankful I was able to go and serve.  We had a great team that went and we all worked really well together.
Our first full day was spent attending church and visiting a handicap orphanage. The service was really good! It was really amazing to worship the same God with a different culture.
The days to follow we built a cement wall in front of the Orphanage and we were able to spend the evenings with the girls from the orphanage.
On a few of those nights with the girls I was able of leading in worship. I was able to talk with and encourage one the the girls that likes to sing and is currently singing in her church.
On Tuesday night I had to privilege to lead worship in the church we had attended the past Sunday. This time of worship I will never forget. It was incredible to watch from the stage everyone worshiping God.
After we finished the wall we had a few days of fun! We had some beach time, climbing water falls, eating great food and shopping. During the whole trip we had an amazing time getting to know everyone on the team. New friends were made!

Jamaica Mission Trip

I'm heading to Jamaica for the first time on a mission trip! Our team leaves this Saturday, June 28th. We will be building a cement wall around a girls orphanage, leading children's ministry projects and I have the privilege of leading worship a few different times while we are there! 
I'm just going to be honest. I'm a little nerves because in 18 yrs of marriage this is my first trip without Robert.  I'm excited and nervous all at the same time! I know we are going to have a great trip and do a lot of hard work!

I will be leading worship at a church, at one of the orphanages and with our group session.
I am honored to get to sing and lead God's people to himself.  I am thankful that a couple from our worship team here will be on this mission trip! Alex will be bringing his guitar and Krista will be playing keys! Thank you both for all your hard work!
